Jackie’s life mission is to have a positive influence on the lives of others. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Teacher Education from Tampere University in Tampere, Finland (2023). She is an experienced after-school teacher in an international school in Finland, a certified nature educator, a certified forest school practitioner, and a registered nurse. She founded Emosyon Bibo® in 2020 and has developed many socio-emotional learning (SEL) tools for children since then. She has over 15 years of cross-cultural experience in the areas of healthcare and clinical research, church leadership, as well as education, and people development.

Jackie’s knowledge and ability are the results of years of education and experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines (2007). Right after, she passed the Nurse Licensure Examination. She then continued to expand her professional career overseas with Raffles Medical Group (2007-2009) and the National University of Singapore (2009-2011). Afterward, she was called into the full-time ministry with the Central Christian Church of Singapore and Malaysia (2011-2020).

During her tenure as a ministry leader and counselor, she has developed and conducted highly successful marriage and parenting workshops. She also served as a Volunteer English Teacher with HOPE worldwide Malaysia (2016-2020), a not-for-profit organization that aims to bring hope and change in the lives of the world’s vulnerable people. Her other experiences included conducting biblical counseling, pre-marital counseling, crisis counseling, and personal coaching to many individuals. Additionally, she holds a Nature Educator Certificate from the Nature and Environmental Education Institute of Finland (2023), a Certificate in Forest School Leadership from Forest Schools Education in the UK (2019), and a Certificate in Professional Teaching from AMA University in Manila (2019).

Having spent her last few years actively advocating outdoor play and emotional intelligence to families, Jackie has developed a passion for early childhood education. Her education and experience deepen and advance further her professional competencies and contribute to building better educational contexts for children and youth.

She enjoys listening to music, reading books, watching movies, traveling to different places, hanging out with friends, and helping the poor.

Louie is an experienced researcher, family educator, cross-cultural minister, and counselor. He served as pastor / ministry leader with the Central Christian Church of Singapore and Malaysia from 2011 to 2020. In Emosyon Bibo^®, he focuses on researching effective socio-emotional learning (SEL) practices, assessments, and interventions within educational settings.

Louie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of the Philippines, Diliman (2007). He also holds Master of Arts degrees in Christian Ministry and Biblical Studies from Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology in Colorado, USA (2019) and Master of Arts degrees in Bible and Theology and Intercultural Studies from Lincoln Christian University in Illinois, USA (2020).

In 2022, Louie graduated with his Master of Theology in Social Exclusion, specializing in theological ethics and philosophy of religion, at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland, where he was a recipient of the university’s full-tuition fee scholarship. At the moment, he is expanding his knowledge and research in the fields of education, trauma, and resilience.

He loves to travel, read, and watch movies.
