MEET THE SPEAKERS
Jackie Bugarin-Uy is the Founder and Owner of Emosyon Bibo®, a dynamic provider of socio-emotional learning (SEL) tools, dedicated to transforming the way families connect and grow together. She is an SEL advocate, a teacher, forest school practitioner, and a registered nurse. Aside from leading numerous emotional intelligence workshops, Jackie taught English to underprivileged children in Malaysia and has been working as an after-school preschool teacher in an international school in Finland. She completed her Master of Arts in Teacher Education from Tampere University in Finland (2023).
Li Tayag is an experienced educator specializing in early childhood development and special needs. With over 16 years of practice across various countries, including the Philippines, U.S.A., Indonesia, and Thailand, she focuses on supporting young children, especially those with special needs, and their families. Currently serving as the Center Director at Nurture Camp Childcare Center in Manila, she emphasizes sustainability and social-emotional learning. Li also conducts training sessions on social-emotional learning for teachers and staff at the Department of Education, NEAP, and other schools and organizations.
